Delete Your EverDiary Account & Data
For the EverDiary app, published by EverDiary LLC · Last updated: July 17, 2026
This page explains how to delete your EverDiary account and the data associated with it, what gets deleted, and what (if anything) is retained.
Option 1 — Delete your account inside the app (fastest)
- Open the EverDiary app and sign in.
- Go to Profile (bottom-right tab).
- Tap Privacy.
- Tap "Delete my account & wipe data".
- Confirm the deletion. Your account and all associated data are scheduled for permanent removal immediately.
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
If you can no longer access the app, email support@everdiary.app from the email address associated with your EverDiary account with the subject line "Delete my account". We will verify ownership and complete the deletion within 30 days, and confirm by email when it is done.
What is deleted
When your account is deleted, all of the following data is permanently and irreversibly deleted from our servers:
- Your account (email address, name, login credentials)
- All memories: text notes, voice-note transcriptions, photos, and imported email/text/PDF content
- All AI questions and answers (Ask AI history)
- Location data: memory location tags, saved parking spots, and location reminders Family sharing memberships and shared timeline entries you created
- Subscription status records (payment card details are held by Stripe, never by us)
Retention periods
| Data | Retention after deletion request |
|---|---|
| Account & all data listed above | Permanently deleted within 30 days |
| Encrypted server backups | Purged automatically within an additional 30 days (max 60 days total) |
| Billing records required by tax/accounting law | Retained by Stripe per legal requirements; contains no memory content |
Deleting some data without deleting your account
You do not have to delete your whole account to remove data:
- Individual memories: open any memory → tap Delete. Deleted memories move to Trash for 30 days (so you can restore them), then are permanently erased — or empty the Trash to erase them immediately.
- Location data: disable Smart Recall in Profile at any time; delete individual location-tagged memories as above.
- Or email support@everdiary.app describing the specific data you want removed.
